• Men, Women, and Chainsaws: Gender in the Modern Horror Film by Carol J. Clover --- One of the most substantial books discussing the horror genre. We bring it up almost every time we watch a horror film, and it definitely played a role in our discussion of Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island as well.
